Capable Web Development team — happy with the end result

Jess Evans / Director | Sep 16, 2026

Overall the project was a success, though it was not without some challenges. Communication was consistent. We had a weekly call, a shared Slack channel and a project board we could check at any time. When we changed our minds on a couple of features halfway through, they handled it without fuss and were clear about the impact on cost and timeline. We dealt with the same core team throughout, so we did not have to keep re-explaining things.

The Web Development work has already made a noticeable difference — tasks that used to take hours now take minutes. Their team changed one developer midway, which slowed things down for a couple of weeks. We are already discussing the next phase with them.

Project summary

Our company worked with Thinkship to rebuild a slow, outdated web app and move it to a new framework. The work covered requirements, design, development, testing and launch support. The engagement ran for about 2 months.

Great team to work with — professional, responsive and reliable

Harsh Nair / Owner | Aug 03, 2026

The project went well overall. Their project manager kept things organised and was quick to flag anything that might affect the timeline. They shared working builds regularly, so we could test early and give feedback before things were locked in. They took the time to understand our business before suggesting anything, which we appreciated after previous agencies jumped straight into building.

Feedback from our customers has been very positive so far. Estimates on a few features were optimistic and those took longer than planned. If you need a team that communicates well and delivers, they are a good choice.

Project summary

We engaged Thinkship to add an AI chatbot to our support site that answers questions from our help docs. They worked alongside our in-house team, which mostly handled business requirements and testing. The engagement ran for about 6 months.

Quality work, a little slower than we planned

Johan Botha / Senior Product Manager | Jul 25, 2026

The final product works well for us, although the process could have been smoother. The developers were knowledgeable and made a few suggestions that ended up saving us time and money. They shared working builds regularly, so we could test early and give feedback before things were locked in.

We launched on schedule and have not had any major issues since. A couple of milestones slipped by a week or so, mostly around testing.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions about our specialized technology solutions? We have the answers to help you make informed decisions.

Generally, yes — companies like Thinkship tend to work well with startups because of what they typically offer: MVP builds, product strategy input, architecture that can scale later, and dedicated teams that keep costs manageable while still moving fast. For context, its listed capabilities span iPhone App Development, Enterprise App Modernization, Mobile App Design, Custom Software Development and Supply Chain Blockchain, and it has experience across industries such as Manufacturing, Legal Services, Real Estate, Information Technology, Travel & Hospitality and Construction.

The exact stack shifts by project, but Thinkship commonly works across things like React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Python, .NET, Java, PHP, Flutter, React Native, native iOS and Android, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. For context, it has experience across industries such as Manufacturing, Legal Services, Real Estate, Information Technology, Travel & Hospitality and Construction, and it has been operating since 2016.

What tends to set Thinkship apart usually comes down to some mix of technical depth, relevant industry experience, how clients describe working with them, their development approach, communication habits, and whether they can actually deliver something that scales. Founded in 2016, the company has built a track record of delivering projects across various industries.

Most businesses reach Thinkship through its website, a direct email, or a contact form — any of which works for discussing what you need, booking an initial conversation, or asking for a rough estimate. For context, its listed capabilities span iPhone App Development, Enterprise App Modernization, Mobile App Design, Custom Software Development and Supply Chain Blockchain, and its typical hourly rate is around $100 - $149.

That depends on where Thinkship is based and who they primarily serve — some firms like this operate fully offshore, some are local-first, and plenty run a hybrid model that mixes both. For context, it has experience across industries such as Manufacturing, Legal Services, Real Estate, Information Technology, Travel & Hospitality and Construction, and it reports a team size of 10 - 49 professionals.

Plenty of modern software teams, Thinkship included, now build real AI and machine learning features — chatbots, predictive models, computer vision, and automation that goes beyond simple rule-based scripts. For context, its listed capabilities span iPhone App Development, Enterprise App Modernization, Mobile App Design, Custom Software Development and Supply Chain Blockchain, and it has been operating since 2016.

It's a common line of work for a company like Thinkship — multi-tenant architecture, subscription billing hooked up properly, and cloud-native deployment built for a product meant to scale as a service rather than a one-off build. For context, it has experience across industries such as Manufacturing, Legal Services, Real Estate, Information Technology, Travel & Hospitality and Construction, and it has been operating since 2016.

Thinkship generally runs something close to a standard structured process — requirements gathering, UI/UX design, development in agile sprints, QA testing along the way, deployment, and support once it's live. For context, it has experience across industries such as Manufacturing, Legal Services, Real Estate, Information Technology, Travel & Hospitality and Construction, and its typical hourly rate is around $100 - $149.

The most reliable route is giving Thinkship a clear, specific brief up front — through their website form, a direct email, or a call — since a vague ask tends to get a vague answer back, while a concrete one usually gets a proper estimate. For context, its listed capabilities span iPhone App Development, Enterprise App Modernization, Mobile App Design, Custom Software Development and Supply Chain Blockchain, and it has been operating since 2016.
