Exceeded our expectations on quality and communication

Lena Becker / Program Manager | Aug 29, 2026

Honestly, this was one of the smoothest projects we have run with an outside team. Even with the time zone difference, responses usually came the same day and we never felt left in the dark. The team asked a lot of questions early on, which felt slow at first but meant there were very few surprises later.

The result looks great and performs well, and our internal team found it easy to take over. We would definitely work with them again.

Project summary

The Code of Dolphins was brought in to build a custom operations platform to replace the spreadsheets and email threads we were running the business on. The project was split into milestones, with a working build shared at the end of each one. The project took roughly 5 months from kickoff to launch.

Dependable Cloud Services Partner for a Growing Nonprofit & NGO Business

Stephanie Foster / Managing Director | Jun 26, 2026

Our experience with The Code of Dolphins was really positive from start to finish. Their project manager kept things organised and was quick to flag anything that might affect the timeline. We dealt with the same core team throughout, so we did not have to keep re-explaining things. Communication was consistent. We had a weekly call, a shared Slack channel and a project board we could check at any time.

The Cloud Services work has already made a noticeable difference — tasks that used to take hours now take minutes. We are already discussing the next phase with them.

Project summary

Our company worked with The Code of Dolphins to reduce our cloud bill and clean up an AWS setup that had grown messy over the years. The project was split into milestones, with a working build shared at the end of each one. The engagement ran for about 7 months.
