Quality work, a little slower than we planned

Hannah Harding / Co-Founder | Oct 06, 2026

Overall the project was a success, though it was not without some challenges. They took the time to understand our business before suggesting anything, which we appreciated after previous agencies jumped straight into building. The developers were knowledgeable and made a few suggestions that ended up saving us time and money. We dealt with the same core team throughout, so we did not have to keep re-explaining things.

It has made a real difference to how our team works day to day. Estimates on a few features were optimistic and those took longer than planned. If you need a team that communicates well and delivers, they are a good choice.

Project summary

Teal Media was brought in to reduce our cloud bill and clean up an AWS setup that had grown messy over the years. The work covered requirements, design, development, testing and launch support. Overall it was a 4-month engagement.

Dependable Cloud Services Partner for a Growing Retail & E-commerce Business

Ananya Joshi / Founder & CEO | Sep 20, 2026

Honestly, this was one of the smoothest projects we have run with an outside team. We dealt with the same core team throughout, so we did not have to keep re-explaining things. They shared working builds regularly, so we could test early and give feedback before things were locked in.

It has made a real difference to how our team works day to day.

Great team to work with — professional, responsive and reliable

Rahul Shah / Director of IT | Aug 13, 2026

We were very happy with how this project went. Their project manager kept things organised and was quick to flag anything that might affect the timeline. The team asked a lot of questions early on, which felt slow at first but meant there were very few surprises later. They were upfront about what was realistic within our budget, which helped us prioritise the right features.

We are already seeing better numbers than before the project.

I would recommend Teal Media to anyone looking for a dependable Mobile App Development partner.

Good results, communication improved as the project went on

Teal Media typically covers the standard range of software development work — mobile apps, web platforms, custom internal tools, UI/UX design, cloud infrastructure, AI integrations, and larger enterprise builds. Its core focus areas include Crypto Exchange Development, Private Blockchains, Web Development and Mobile App Development.

Teal Media has delivered projects across a range of different industries, including Manufacturing, Retail & E-commerce, Telecommunications, Sports & Fitness, Legal Services and Environmental Services.

The exact stack shifts by project, but Teal Media commonly works across things like React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Python, .NET, Java, PHP, Flutter, React Native, native iOS and Android, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. For context, it has experience across industries such as Manufacturing, Retail & E-commerce, Telecommunications, Sports & Fitness, Legal Services and Environmental Services, and its typical hourly rate is around $150 - $199.

It depends heavily on scope. With a team of 10 - 49 professionals, Teal Media can scale resources based on project urgency.

What tends to set Teal Media apart usually comes down to some mix of technical depth, relevant industry experience, how clients describe working with them, their development approach, communication habits, and whether they can actually deliver something that scales. Founded in 2008, the company has built a track record of delivering projects across various industries.

Like most established software teams, Teal Media typically sticks around post-launch for ongoing maintenance — bug fixes, performance tuning, security patching, new feature work, and general technical support. For context, its listed capabilities span Crypto Exchange Development, Private Blockchains, Web Development and Mobile App Development, and it has been operating since 2008.

Most companies structured like Teal Media give you a choice between a fixed-price contract, a dedicated team arrangement, or time-and-materials billing, so you can pick whichever lines up with your budget and how well-defined your scope already is. For context, its listed capabilities span Crypto Exchange Development, Private Blockchains, Web Development and Mobile App Development, and it reports a team size of 10 - 49 professionals.
