Layana ID Delivered a Quality Software Development Solution on Time

Hannah Wright / Product Manager | Oct 10, 2026

Honestly, this was one of the smoothest projects we have run with an outside team. Even with the time zone difference, responses usually came the same day and we never felt left in the dark. When we changed our minds on a couple of features halfway through, they handled it without fuss and were clear about the impact on cost and timeline. The developers were knowledgeable and made a few suggestions that ended up saving us time and money.

The result looks great and performs well, and our internal team found it easy to take over. We are already discussing the next phase with them.

Project summary

We engaged Layana ID to build a custom operations platform to replace the spreadsheets and email threads we were running the business on. Scope included discovery workshops, development in two-week sprints and a short support period after launch. Overall it was a 9-month engagement.

Dependable IoT Development Partner for a Growing Aerospace & Defense Business

Harry Doyle / Founder | Sep 25, 2026

Layana ID did an excellent job for us. They took the time to understand our business before suggesting anything, which we appreciated after previous agencies jumped straight into building. They were upfront about what was realistic within our budget, which helped us prioritise the right features. Their project manager kept things organised and was quick to flag anything that might affect the timeline.

The IoT Development work has already made a noticeable difference — tasks that used to take hours now take minutes.

I would recommend Layana ID to anyone looking for a dependable IoT Development partner.

Project summary

We partnered with Layana ID to build firmware and a companion app for a smart device we were launching. They also took care of integrations with a couple of third-party tools we already used. The project took roughly 6 months from kickoff to launch.

Good work overall, with a few bumps along the way

Sam Harding / Managing Director | Sep 16, 2026

Overall the project was a success, though it was not without some challenges. When we changed our minds on a couple of features halfway through, they handled it without fuss and were clear about the impact on cost and timeline. They were upfront about what was realistic within our budget, which helped us prioritise the right features.

It has made a real difference to how our team works day to day. Documentation at handover was a bit thin and we had to ask for more detail. We are already discussing the next phase with them.

A reliable long-term partner for our tech needs

Siddharth Nair / Director of Technology | Jun 23, 2026

Honestly, this was one of the smoothest projects we have run with an outside team. The team asked a lot of questions early on, which felt slow at first but meant there were very few surprises later. We dealt with the same core team throughout, so we did not have to keep re-explaining things. They were upfront about what was realistic within our budget, which helped us prioritise the right features.

Good results, communication improved as the project went on

Heather Nguyen / Founder & CEO | May 02, 2026

Overall the project was a success, though it was not without some challenges. The team asked a lot of questions early on, which felt slow at first but meant there were very few surprises later. The developers were knowledgeable and made a few suggestions that ended up saving us time and money.
