Strong Technical Skills and a Very Responsive Blockchain Development Team

Andre Foster / Head of Digital Transformation | Oct 20, 2026

The project went well overall. Even with the time zone difference, responses usually came the same day and we never felt left in the dark. They took the time to understand our business before suggesting anything, which we appreciated after previous agencies jumped straight into building. Communication was consistent. We had a weekly call, a shared Slack channel and a project board we could check at any time.

We are already seeing better numbers than before the project. A couple of milestones slipped by a week or so, mostly around testing. I would recommend ICEcream to anyone looking for a dependable Blockchain Development partner.

Project summary

We partnered with ICEcream to build a supply chain traceability prototype on a permissioned blockchain. Scope included discovery workshops, development in two-week sprints and a short support period after launch. We worked together for around 9 months.

Solid delivery, though timelines needed some pushing

Jack O'Brien / Engineering Manager | Sep 06, 2026

The final product works well for us, although the process could have been smoother. The team asked a lot of questions early on, which felt slow at first but meant there were very few surprises later. Even with the time zone difference, responses usually came the same day and we never felt left in the dark.

We are already seeing better numbers than before the project. A couple of milestones slipped by a week or so, mostly around testing. I would recommend ICEcream to anyone looking for a dependable AI & Machine Learning partner.

Project summary

ICEcream was brought in to add an AI chatbot to our support site that answers questions from our help docs. Their team handled planning, development and QA, with our product owner signing off each milestone. Overall it was a 6-month engagement.

Delivered on time and stayed involved after launch

Naledi van der Merwe / Head of Product | Sep 03, 2026

Honestly, this was one of the smoothest projects we have run with an outside team. They shared working builds regularly, so we could test early and give feedback before things were locked in. Even with the time zone difference, responses usually came the same day and we never felt left in the dark. They took the time to understand our business before suggesting anything, which we appreciated after previous agencies jumped straight into building.

We launched on schedule and have not had any major issues since. We are already discussing the next phase with them.

Project summary

Our company worked with ICEcream to run user research and create new designs for our mobile app. They also took care of integrations with a couple of third-party tools we already used. We worked together for around 6 months.

Good work overall, with a few bumps along the way

Ethan Gagnon / Director of Technology | Jun 11, 2026

Overall the project was a success, though it was not without some challenges. Communication was consistent. We had a weekly call, a shared Slack channel and a project board we could check at any time. They took the time to understand our business before suggesting anything, which we appreciated after previous agencies jumped straight into building.
