Great team to work with — professional, responsive and reliable

Rohan Nair / Co-Founder | Sep 29, 2026

Honestly, this was one of the smoothest projects we have run with an outside team. Even with the time zone difference, responses usually came the same day and we never felt left in the dark. When we changed our minds on a couple of features halfway through, they handled it without fuss and were clear about the impact on cost and timeline.

The result looks great and performs well, and our internal team found it easy to take over. I would recommend HammerByte to anyone looking for a dependable UI/UX Design partner.

Project summary

We partnered with HammerByte to run user research and create new designs for our mobile app. Scope included discovery workshops, development in two-week sprints and a short support period after launch. Overall it was a 7-month engagement.

I'm the Co-Founder at Ironwood Fitness Pvt Ltd, a Sports & Fitness company based in Kolkata, India. I look after our technology and work closely with outside partners on bigger projects.
What specific problem or business challenge led you to hire this company?
We needed to run user research and create new designs for our mobile app, and we didn't have the in-house capacity to do it ourselves.

UI/UX Design, including planning, development, testing and launch support.
Why did you choose this company over other providers you considered?
A colleague recommended them, and our first calls confirmed they understood what we needed.
How clearly did the company understand your requirements and business goals?

Definitely. We have already started talking about the next phase.

Quality work, a little slower than we planned

Ryan Graham / Director | Sep 17, 2026

Overall the project was a success, though it was not without some challenges. They took the time to understand our business before suggesting anything, which we appreciated after previous agencies jumped straight into building. When we changed our minds on a couple of features halfway through, they handled it without fuss and were clear about the impact on cost and timeline. Even with the time zone difference, responses usually came the same day and we never felt left in the dark.

We are already seeing better numbers than before the project. Documentation at handover was a bit thin and we had to ask for more detail. We would definitely work with them again.

Project summary

We hired HammerByte to build a design system so our product looked consistent across screens. Their team handled planning, development and QA, with our product owner signing off each milestone. The project took roughly 4 months from kickoff to launch.

Solid delivery, though timelines needed some pushing

Faisal Al Otaibi / Project Manager | Aug 04, 2026

The final product works well for us, although the process could have been smoother. We dealt with the same core team throughout, so we did not have to keep re-explaining things. They took the time to understand our business before suggesting anything, which we appreciated after previous agencies jumped straight into building.

It has made a real difference to how our team works day to day. There were some early misunderstandings on requirements that took a few rounds to sort out.

Overall, a team we trust and plan to keep working with.

Capable AI & Machine Learning team — happy with the end result

Brandon Fisher / Managing Director | Jul 29, 2026

The final product works well for us, although the process could have been smoother. When we changed our minds on a couple of features halfway through, they handled it without fuss and were clear about the impact on cost and timeline. Even with the time zone difference, responses usually came the same day and we never felt left in the dark. Communication was consistent. We had a weekly call, a shared Slack channel and a project board we could check at any time.

We launched on schedule and have not had any major issues since. Their team changed one developer midway, which slowed things down for a couple of weeks.

We are already discussing the next phase with them.

Honest advice and solid execution

Lotte Jansen / Founder | Feb 10, 2026

Honestly, this was one of the smoothest projects we have run with an outside team. When we changed our minds on a couple of features halfway through, they handled it without fuss and were clear about the impact on cost and timeline. The team asked a lot of questions early on, which felt slow at first but meant there were very few surprises later. Even with the time zone difference, responses usually came the same day and we never felt left in the dark.

The AI & Machine Learning work has already made a noticeable difference — tasks that used to take hours now take minutes. We would definitely work with them again.
