Skilled IT Managed Services Team That Understood Our Business

Lerato Naidoo / Owner | Sep 15, 2026

Honestly, this was one of the smoothest projects we have run with an outside team. They took the time to understand our business before suggesting anything, which we appreciated after previous agencies jumped straight into building. The developers were knowledgeable and made a few suggestions that ended up saving us time and money. Communication was consistent. We had a weekly call, a shared Slack channel and a project board we could check at any time.

It has made a real difference to how our team works day to day. Overall, a team we trust and plan to keep working with.

Project summary

We hired Design Fictives to manage our servers, backups and helpdesk. The work covered requirements, design, development, testing and launch support. We worked together for around 2 months.

Easy to work with and very transparent on timelines and cost

Amanda Hayes / Chief Digital Officer | Aug 08, 2026

Honestly, this was one of the smoothest projects we have run with an outside team. Their project manager kept things organised and was quick to flag anything that might affect the timeline. The team asked a lot of questions early on, which felt slow at first but meant there were very few surprises later. Communication was consistent. We had a weekly call, a shared Slack channel and a project board we could check at any time.

The Game Development work has already made a noticeable difference — tasks that used to take hours now take minutes.

Overall, a team we trust and plan to keep working with.

Project summary

Design Fictives was brought in to develop a casual mobile game from concept to launch. The work covered requirements, design, development, testing and launch support. The project took roughly 4 months from kickoff to launch.

Great Experience With Design Fictives on Our IT Managed Services Project

Mitch Ryan / Chief Digital Officer | Jul 27, 2026

Our experience with Design Fictives was really positive from start to finish. Even with the time zone difference, responses usually came the same day and we never felt left in the dark. Would happily work with them again

Nicole Coleman / Engineering Manager | Jul 13, 2026

Design Fictives did good work for us, and we would use them again. The developers were knowledgeable and made a few suggestions that ended up saving us time and money. They took the time to understand our business before suggesting anything, which we appreciated after previous agencies jumped straight into building. When we changed our minds on a couple of features halfway through, they handled it without fuss and were clear about the impact on cost and timeline.

We launched on schedule and have not had any major issues since. Their team changed one developer midway, which slowed things down for a couple of weeks. We would definitely work with them again.
