Dark Bears Delivered a Quality UI/UX Design Solution on Time

Heather Coleman / Co-Founder | Aug 29, 2026

I would rate this engagement highly on almost every front. They were upfront about what was realistic within our budget, which helped us prioritise the right features. We dealt with the same core team throughout, so we did not have to keep re-explaining things. Communication was consistent. We had a weekly call, a shared Slack channel and a project board we could check at any time.

Feedback from our customers has been very positive so far.

Overall, a team we trust and plan to keep working with.

Project summary

We engaged Dark Bears to build a design system so our product looked consistent across screens. They also took care of integrations with a couple of third-party tools we already used. The engagement ran for about 5 months.

Honest advice and solid execution

Olivia Murphy / Founder | Aug 07, 2026

Our experience with Dark Bears was really positive from start to finish. They were upfront about what was realistic within our budget, which helped us prioritise the right features. They took the time to understand our business before suggesting anything, which we appreciated after previous agencies jumped straight into building.

The UI/UX Design work has already made a noticeable difference — tasks that used to take hours now take minutes. Happy to recommend them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions about our specialized technology solutions? We have the answers to help you make informed decisions.

Dark Bears typically covers the standard range of software development work — mobile apps, web platforms, custom internal tools, UI/UX design, cloud infrastructure, AI integrations, and larger enterprise builds. Its core focus areas include AI Development, Android App Development, Blockchain Development, CRM Development and Cryptocurrency Wallet Development.

Generally, yes — companies like Dark Bears tend to work well with startups because of what they typically offer: MVP builds, product strategy input, architecture that can scale later, and dedicated teams that keep costs manageable while still moving fast. For context, its listed capabilities span AI Development, Android App Development, Blockchain Development, CRM Development and Cryptocurrency Wallet Development, and its typical hourly rate is around $25 - $49.

What tends to set Dark Bears apart usually comes down to some mix of technical depth, relevant industry experience, how clients describe working with them, their development approach, communication habits, and whether they can actually deliver something that scales. Founded in 2009, the company has built a track record of delivering projects across various industries.

Like most established software teams, Dark Bears typically sticks around post-launch for ongoing maintenance — bug fixes, performance tuning, security patching, new feature work, and general technical support. For context, its listed capabilities span AI Development, Android App Development, Blockchain Development, CRM Development and Cryptocurrency Wallet Development, and it has been operating since 2009.

Most businesses reach Dark Bears through its website, a direct email, or a contact form — any of which works for discussing what you need, booking an initial conversation, or asking for a rough estimate. For context, it has experience across industries such as Human Resources, Mining & Metals, Aerospace & Defense, Nonprofit & NGO, Education and Logistics & Supply Chain, and it reports a team size of 50 - 249 professionals.

When you're weighing up a software partner such as Dark Bears, it's worth looking past the pitch and checking the portfolio, what past clients say, relevant industry background, technical range, how they communicate, pricing structure, project management style, and what support looks like after launch. For context, it has experience across industries such as Human Resources, Mining & Metals, Aerospace & Defense, Nonprofit & NGO, Education and Logistics & Supply Chain, and its listed capabilities span AI Development, Android App Development, Blockchain Development, CRM Development and Cryptocurrency Wallet Development.

That depends on where Dark Bears is based and who they primarily serve — some firms like this operate fully offshore, some are local-first, and plenty run a hybrid model that mixes both. For context, it has experience across industries such as Human Resources, Mining & Metals, Aerospace & Defense, Nonprofit & NGO, Education and Logistics & Supply Chain, and it has been operating since 2009.

Most professional shops, including Dark Bears, expect to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before getting into specifics — it's a fairly standard ask and a reasonable one to make before sharing anything sensitive. For context, its listed capabilities span AI Development, Android App Development, Blockchain Development, CRM Development and Cryptocurrency Wallet Development, and it reports a team size of 50 - 249 professionals.

Dark Bears generally runs something close to a standard structured process — requirements gathering, UI/UX design, development in agile sprints, QA testing along the way, deployment, and support once it's live. For context, its listed capabilities span AI Development, Android App Development, Blockchain Development, CRM Development and Cryptocurrency Wallet Development, and it reports a team size of 50 - 249 professionals.

The most reliable route is giving Dark Bears a clear, specific brief up front — through their website form, a direct email, or a call — since a vague ask tends to get a vague answer back, while a concrete one usually gets a proper estimate. For context, it has experience across industries such as Human Resources, Mining & Metals, Aerospace & Defense, Nonprofit & NGO, Education and Logistics & Supply Chain, and it has been operating since 2009.
