Capable AR/VR Development team — happy with the end result

Georgia Martin / CEO | Sep 22, 2026

We got a good result in the end, but the road there had a few bumps. They shared working builds regularly, so we could test early and give feedback before things were locked in. They were upfront about what was realistic within our budget, which helped us prioritise the right features. Their project manager kept things organised and was quick to flag anything that might affect the timeline.

Since launch, everything has been stable and our team has adapted to it quickly. Estimates on a few features were optimistic and those took longer than planned. We are already discussing the next phase with them.

Project summary

We engaged Colorful Dots, LLC to build an AR product viewer so customers can preview items in their own space. The work covered requirements, design, development, testing and launch support. Overall it was a 8-month engagement.

A reliable long-term partner for our tech needs

Faisal Al Harbi / Founder & CEO | Sep 01, 2026

Overall we had a good experience working with Colorful Dots, LLC. They took the time to understand our business before suggesting anything, which we appreciated after previous agencies jumped straight into building. Their project manager kept things organised and was quick to flag anything that might affect the timeline.

Since launch, everything has been stable and our team has adapted to it quickly. There were some early misunderstandings on requirements that took a few rounds to sort out. Overall, a team we trust and plan to keep working with.

They listened, asked the right questions, and delivered

Ethan Thompson / Founder & CEO | Jun 27, 2026

Honestly, this was one of the smoothest projects we have run with an outside team. When we changed our minds on a couple of features halfway through, they handled it without fuss and were clear about the impact on cost and timeline. Even with the time zone difference, responses usually came the same day and we never felt left in the dark.

We are already seeing better numbers than before the project.

Happy to recommend them.

Quality work, a little slower than we planned

Easy to work with and very transparent on timelines and cost

Sanne Meijer / Senior Engineering Manager | May 05, 2026
