Honest advice and solid execution

Joanne Wong / Chief Digital Officer | Oct 20, 2026

Overall we had a good experience working with App Experts. They took the time to understand our business before suggesting anything, which we appreciated after previous agencies jumped straight into building. The team asked a lot of questions early on, which felt slow at first but meant there were very few surprises later. Communication was consistent. We had a weekly call, a shared Slack channel and a project board we could check at any time.

We launched on schedule and have not had any major issues since. We had to follow up a few times on smaller bug fixes after launch.

We are already discussing the next phase with them.

Project summary

We partnered with App Experts to rebuild our existing mobile app, which had poor reviews and frequent crashes. They also took care of integrations with a couple of third-party tools we already used. We worked together for around 6 months.

Dependable Game Development Partner for a Growing Insurance Business

Lucy Walker / Founder | Aug 11, 2026

Our experience with App Experts was really positive from start to finish. When we changed our minds on a couple of features halfway through, they handled it without fuss and were clear about the impact on cost and timeline. We dealt with the same core team throughout, so we did not have to keep re-explaining things. They shared working builds regularly, so we could test early and give feedback before things were locked in.

We launched on schedule and have not had any major issues since. We would definitely work with them again.

Reliable Web Development Partner That Delivered What They Promised

Lerato Nkosi / Head of Digital Transformation | Aug 08, 2026

We were happy with the final result. The team asked a lot of questions early on, which felt slow at first but meant there were very few surprises later. Even with the time zone difference, responses usually came the same day and we never felt left in the dark.

The result looks great and performs well, and our internal team found it easy to take over. There were some early misunderstandings on requirements that took a few rounds to sort out. We are already discussing the next phase with them.

Easy to work with and very transparent on timelines and cost

Dependable Game Development Partner for a Growing Education Business

Lauren Bennett / Senior Product Manager | Apr 23, 2026

App Experts did good work for us, and we would use them again. The team asked a lot of questions early on, which felt slow at first but meant there were very few surprises later. When we changed our minds on a couple of features halfway through, they handled it without fuss and were clear about the impact on cost and timeline.

What App Experts charges comes down to a handful of variables — how complex the project is, the number of development hours involved, the tech stack required, team size, and which engagement model you pick. Based on available data, App Experts's typical hourly rate is around $100 - $149.

App Experts has delivered projects across a range of different industries, including Aerospace & Defense, Agriculture, Education, Insurance, Government & Public Sector and Environmental Services.

Generally, yes — companies like App Experts tend to work well with startups because of what they typically offer: MVP builds, product strategy input, architecture that can scale later, and dedicated teams that keep costs manageable while still moving fast. App Experts isn't necessarily limited to one region and may take on clients across several countries, depending on market demand and business partnerships.

Modernizing legacy software is usually within scope for a firm like App Experts — re-platforming, refactoring old code, and moving things onto current frameworks or cloud infrastructure without necessarily rebuilding everything from zero. For context, it has experience across industries such as Aerospace & Defense, Agriculture, Education, Insurance, Government & Public Sector and Environmental Services, and it has been operating since 2015.

The most reliable route is giving App Experts a clear, specific brief up front — through their website form, a direct email, or a call — since a vague ask tends to get a vague answer back, while a concrete one usually gets a proper estimate. For context, it has experience across industries such as Aerospace & Defense, Agriculture, Education, Insurance, Government & Public Sector and Environmental Services, and it reports a team size of 10 - 49 professionals.
